Rely on Your Veterinarian to Help Prevent Parasites

Did you know that the parasites are an increasing threat to pets and people? In the United States, over a million dogs test positive for heartworm each year, while sampling done across veterinary clinics and dog parks consistently find parasitic infections. Recognizing World Parasite Awareness Day is an important step toward keeping pets and people healthy.  AHI is pleased to join health leaders from around the world to reaffirm the importance of preventive health practices that protect pets, people, and the households they share.
