YOUR 2021 CUTEST PETS ON CAPITOL HILL ARE….

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Cutest Pets on Capitol Hill Contest.

On Thursday, Oct. 21, Animal lovers from across the Nation’s capital tuned in to learn the winner of the 13th annual Cutest Pets on Capitol Hill Contest. Veterinarians from the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Congressman Kurt Schrader (OR-5) served as judges for the contest, and Rep. Schrader broke the news about the contest winners, which are:

“We lucked out when we adopted this sweet pup!”

“Dorothy is a fluffy cat who enjoys tuna, watching wildlife out the window, and curling up on your lap. She’s so friendly and loves to meet new people!”

“Dublin brings a smile to the face of everyone he meets! He enjoys coming to the Capitol and visiting his favorite staffers. They even signed his cast!”

“Celebrating the pets in our lives is easy—they bring us so much joy,” said Alex Mathews, President and CEO of AHI. “Let’s all strive to honor the important role animals play in our world by taking steps to keep them healthy and to ensure animals have access to the medicines they need to live long, comfortable lives.”
