AHI Board Elects Officers, Executive Committee

(Washington, DC–July 23, 2026) The Animal Health Institute’s Board of Directors this week elected Jamie Brannan of Zoetis as Board Chair and Brad McCollum of Ceva as Vice-Chair for the 2026-28 term. Brannan is Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Zoetis, and McCollum is Senior Vice President, North America, at Ceva.

Joseph N. Huff, President of Colorado Serum Company, was elected to another term as Treasurer.  Richard R. DeLuca Jr., Executive Vice President and President of Merck Animal Health, continues as Immediate Past Chair.

The Board also named members to a reestablished Executive Committee.  In addition to the officers, at-large members elected are Bobby Modi, Executive Vice President, U.S. Pet Health and Global Digital Transformation at Elanco, and Peter Ploeger, U.S. Animal Health Country Managing Director at Boehringer Ingelheim.

“We have a strong leadership team in place as we work on the policy and regulatory priorities that will shape the next chapter of animal health,” said AHI President and CEO Martha Scott Poindexter. “I appreciate the commitment of these individuals and look forward to partnering with them to help modernize the regulatory and policy environment, so it supports responsible, science-based innovation and accelerates the development of new solutions for unmet medical needs in animal health.”
